Fleet Week Miami Navy Band Southeast Concert

As part of Norwegian Cruise Line® Fleet Week Miami, you can enjoy performances by the Navy Band Southeast Deckplate Brass on Friday, May 10th at Deering Estate! Guests can enjoy two outdoor musical performances at 11:15 a.m. & 12:20 p.m. Concerts are included with general admission to Deering Estate.

Navy Band Southeast’s Deckplate Brass performs a variety of musical styles from traditional New Orleans-inspired music to jazz, funk, and unique versions of today’s popular music.

The group performs at public concerts, parades, Navy Week events, and schools throughout the southeast region. A uniquely versatile ensemble, Deckplate Brass brings energy and fun to every performance.

Since its establishment in 1995, Navy Band Southeast has been dedicated to providing top quality musical support throughout the Southeastern United States for Commander, Navy Region Southeast. Under the direction of Lieutenant Nicholas Nadal, the band is located onboard Naval Air Station Jacksonville and serves the military and civilian communities.

Deering Estate is a Blue Star Museum providing active duty military personnel, and up to five family members, free admission to Deering Estate this summer, from Armed Forces Day, May 18, 2024 through Labor Day, Sept. 2, 2024.
