Deering Seafood Festival

The award-winning Deering Seafood Festival is a non-stop celebration on the bay that serves as a milestone event for the South Florida community. Guests can experience a full day of fresh seafood along with professional chef demonstrations and live entertainment set against the historic backdrop of the Estate. The festival is designed for all ages, featuring a variety of kid-friendly activities and community-focused programs.

Summer

Summer Cabaret Concerts

Traditionally a highlight of the season, the Summer Cabaret Concerts offer an intimate musical experience inside the Stone House ballroom. These performances typically feature a range of jazz, soul, and world music artists in a setting that evokes the elegance of the early 20th century. 

Note: Due to the ongoing preservation and restoration of the Stone House, these concerts are not currently offered. During this time, we invite visitors to explore our other seasonal offerings, including guided nature tours and outdoor activities across our 444-acre preserve.

Fall

Historic Ghost Tours

As the season changes, the Historic Ghost Tours offer a chance to explore the mysteries of this national landmark after dark. These seasonal evening tours share historical accounts and stories of sightings that have occurred on the property over the property’s 10,000-year history. Guests are invited to walk the historic grounds and waterfront as they learn about the spirits said to linger within the estate’s corridors and natural areas. This program provides a unique perspective on the property’s heritage within the setting of a protected Miami heritage park.

Vintage Auto Show

Every November, the Estate hosts the annual Vintage Auto Show in collaboration with the Antique Automotive Club of America. This event showcases a stunning collection of vintage cars from 1965 and older, all displayed across our historic manicured lawns. We take special pride in featuring our own 1950 International Harvester L-110 truck, a direct nod to the Deering family’s legacy in the automotive and agricultural industries. Car enthusiasts and families alike can enjoy a relaxed day outdoors with scavenger hunts for children and a wide variety of classic automobiles on display.

Holiday Events & Celebrations

Experience the magic of the season during our annual holiday celebrations, where the Estate is transformed into a winter wonderland. This annual tradition brings together premier local interior designers and garden clubs to create festive holiday displays throughout our historic homes. Visitors can enjoy the holiday spirit through daily museum tours and a variety of seasonal programs held throughout the grounds. This beloved celebration blends elegant holiday design with the architectural beauty of our historic South Florida landmark.

“Moonlight & Music” Valentine’s Day Concert

Celebrate romance at the most beautiful waterfront setting in South Florida during the “Moonlight & Music” Valentine’s Day Concert. This beloved tradition invites couples and friends to pack a small picnic basket and enjoy a live outdoor concert under the stars on our Great Lawn. With performances by world-class musicians and the gentle breeze of Biscayne Bay in the air, it is widely considered one of the most romantic outdoor concerts in Miami. Whether you are looking for a unique date night or a memorable evening with friends, the Estate provides an unforgettable backdrop for love and music.
