Clear Kayak Adventure
Depart from Deering Estate’s boat basin on a guided clear kayak tour of Biscayne Bay. Our transparent vessels give you an up close and uninhibited view of the marine life below as you paddle over sea-grass beds and head into a mangrove forest. Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable paddling clothing that can get wet, bug spray, snacks, and water. Bugs & mosquitos are very common, please come prepared. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
This program is for adults & youth ages 9+. All kayaks are two seat / tandem kayaks. We recommend purchasing tickets in sets of two; single-registered kayakers will be paired up with another single-registered kayaker. Participants ages 9-17 must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian in the same kayak.
Cost: $50 (members and non-members). Spaces are limited! Ticket price includes general admission to the Estate during regular Estate hours (10AM to 4PM) the same day of your program.
Upon arriving for your event please meet our staff at the Visitor Center.
