20th Miami Short Film Festival Opening Night Gala
Deering Estate in partnership with the Miami short Film Festival presents the opening night gala of the 20th edition of the MIAMIsFF “Strong Hearted or Strong Minded, on Friday, November 12th. For the landmark 20th anniversary, Miami short Film Festival will host 3 days of live festival screenings at various locations, featuring over 55 short films from around the Globe.
Enjoy a cocktail reception with live music and short films in the historic courtyard. Gates Open at 6:30pm, cocktail reception at 7pm, screening at 8pm. Filmmaker Q&A to be held immediately following program. Please note that this outdoor screening is a seated event. Please do not bring blankets or chairs. Museums are closed during this event. Please review the latest safety guidelines prior to visiting the Estate.
COST: $20-25. Tickets are online only through Miami Short Film Festival. Tickets are $25 & $20 for students, seniors & military. Limited tickets are available and must be purchased online in advance.

Parking & Directions: Free street side parking is available along SW 72 Ave between SW 168 Street and 164 Terrace. Free parking is also available in the Visitor Center parking lot located on SW 168 Street just west of 72nd Avenue. The event entrance and entrance of the Deering Estate is via the Main Gate located on 72nd Avenue near SW 167 Street. After entering through the Main Gate, proceed down the main pathway to the Courtyard next to the Historic Museums.
