Museum Store Sunday
On Sunday, November 29, 2026, the Gift Shop at Deering Estate invites shoppers to participate in Museum Store Sunday, an annual holiday shopping day supporting cultural institutions and their stores. This year, more than 2,250 museum stores representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia, 25 countries and five continents will celebrate Museum Store Sunday and will offer inspired shopping at your favorite museums and cultural institutions.
Museum Store Sunday offers a special shopping experience in one-of-a-kind stores, showcasing broad assortments of highly curated, unique, mission-related gifts. As part of Museum Store Sunday on November 29th, guests who make a minimum purchase of $10 in the Deering Estate Gift Shop will receive a complimentary daytime general admission pass to explore the Estate. The pass can be used from December 1-31, 2026 for daytime general admission only (not valid for special event/programs).
You can celebrate the holidays at the historic Deering Estate in Miami and create memorable traditions with family friends. The Deering Estate offers a variety of holiday events and programs. Guests can also enjoy a daytime visit to stroll through the Richmond Cottage and main grounds as part of the Historic Holiday Décor from November 27, 2026 – January 6, 2027.

Launched in 2017, Museum Store Sunday is a global advocacy campaign that communicates the value and importance of museum stores directly to the general public. Happening annually on the Sunday of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Museum Store Sunday laid claim to the previously vacant day of the weekend which encompasses Black Friday, Shop Small Saturday, and further beyond with Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday.
This year, Museum Store Sunday happens on November 29, 2026 when over 2,250 museum stores representing all fifty states and the District of Columbia, twenty five countries, and five continents will offer inspired shopping at your favorite museums and cultural institutions. While there is only one Museum Store Sunday every year, consumers are encouraged to “Shop with Purpose” and support museum stores throughout the year.
