Saturday, July 16:
Featuring multi award winning jazz duo Davis and Dow

Davis and Dow

Multi award winning jazz duo Davis and Dow are two strong halves of one BIG sound; a culmination of performing and touring together for 25 years. They tackle jazz and pop standards with a daring sense of abandon. While their style is deeply rooted in the classic jazz tradition, they enjoy weaving different genres of music into their repertoire. A Bossa Nova sung in French or a jazz standard with a Bach Interlude.

Julie Davis is everything from scat-singer to balladeer. She grew up listening to the music of Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald among others on her parent’s vinyl collection. Singing jazz came naturally to Julie from a young age. “A confident singer with a compelling stage presence who possesses a wry kittenish voice with claws.” “She is a stylist that seeks an original twist on everything she performs; a risktaker whose scatting suggests she learned in her bassinet”. Julie is also a professional photographer who photographs local artists and musicians and an avid lover and collector of most things mid-century modern.

An alum of the University of North Texas, Kelly Dow is a world class seven string guitarist who considers himself a perpetual student of the instrument. His primary influences are Joe Pass and Wes Montgomery. He blends all styles from Be-Bop to Classical to create a strong individual sound delivered with sensitivity and creativity. “Simply orchestral in support” “Swinging” and “Multi-hued” is how critics have described his performance. Kelly teaches guitar at North Broward Preparatory School where he has started a It’s first guitar Suzuki program.

Bianca Rosarrio

South Florida’s very own Bianca Rosarrio is an International Jazz and Contemporary Singer with a captivating voice that can melodically narrate her audience through a journey of her musical visions, commanding the attention of any room with sultry expressions, and powerful climatic crescendos. She infuses her style with the ease of jazz, the honesty of blues, the nostalgia of the standards, and the dynamics of soul. The conception of the often sought-after songstress’s talent began at an early age while studying musical theater at Dreyfoos School of Arts in West Palm Beach, FL. She was eventually discovered by well-known German music producer Frank Farian, in which she was signed to his label and began working in Germany and touring around the world.

Bianca is known to create an atmosphere where her crowd is no longer just watching a show, but seamlessly becomes part of the show they came to enjoy!
