Departing from the Deering Estate on the Pelican Skipper, a comfortable riding 45 foot Corinthian catamaran, this three hour tour will allow you to experience Biscayne National Park in a new light! Guided by a Biscayne National Park Ranger, guests will journey through Biscayne Bay to see Boca Chita Island and learn about the history that surrounds them. The vessel complies with Coast Guard Regulations and is ADA accessible.
Each guided tour lasts approximately three hours and includes opportunities to explore and learn about popular and scenic Boca Chita Key and Biscayne Bay. Explore the island and hike the trail (mosquitoes are prevalent on the trails). Staff engage you with the history of the park and why mangroves, seagrasses, and hardwood hammock habitats are all vital to the health of the local ecosystems.
Cost: $56 plus tax and processing fees. Advance reservations are required. For times & tickets click HERE. Guests must practice social distancing and wear face coverings. Please review the latest safety guidelines prior to visiting. Check-in is at the Main Gate.
