Departing from Deering Estate, this three hour tour will allow you to view the birds of Biscayne National Park while guided by a Deering Estate Naturalist. You journey through Biscayne Bay to locations such as Fowey Rocks, Soldier Key, and Boca Chita in search of the various species of birds found in Biscayne National Park. During this trip you will learn all about the species and their role in the ecosystems found in Biscayne. We make every attempt to go as close as possible to Fowey Rocks Lighthouse, however weather and sea conditions determine how close the vessel can approach this lighthouse while still providing you with a safe and enjoyable experience. The vessel complies with Coast Guard Regulations and is ADA accessible.
Cost: $70 per person, plus tax and a processing fee. Advance reservations are required. For times & tickets click HERE. Guests must practice social distancing and wear face coverings on all Bay Cruises. Facial coverings are still required on Biscayne National Park Institute boats regardless of vaccination status as per CDC and NPS guidance. For all boat tours, please review Keeping You Safe from COVID-19 for additional information before you book. Ticket price includes general admission to the Estate during regular Estate hours (10AM to 4PM) the same day of your cruise.
Please arrive to the Deering Estate at least 15 minutes early to check in. Initial check-in is at the Main Gate & again when boarding the vessel. Tours will depart on time; the tour cannot be held for late arriving guests.
